Network Intrusion Alarm System (IAS) Development: Version 2.7.1

13/07/24 by Mr Shane Currie

In todays video presentation I provide a demonstration of my IAS V2.7.1 system and my dog Loki.

In todays update, I have successfully connected and tested all the working modules for the IAS, such as the clock timer, the motion detection, the ultrasonic, the buzzer and the red light.

Currently, I am only testing functionality of the connected modules, the IAS is not acting as a network port monitor yet. However, in future updates I do plan to include the network port monitoring feature (as included in previous versions)

The LED clock will be utilized to count the number of intrusions attempts on your server, whereas the buzzer and light will activate during an ongoing detection. The ultrasonic and motion detection is so the device can detect human presence and verbally alert and remind the user to update and review blacklists. I also wish to explore using Ollama AI models with custom datasets to verbally engage with the user.

Future features, may include external temperature monitoring and a soil checker for your desk plant.
