Brainyap Project

Brainyap is a closed source project for the development of a social media platform for an exclusive clientele. Brainyap will include all the typical features of a social media platform such as notifications, posting, private messaging, photos, blogs and classifieds.

Brainyap will include end to end encryption for private messaging, meaning that even the site developer will not be able to view your private messages. Private message encryption works by using two keys: a public key held by Brainyap to lock the message, and a private key on your device to unlock it, so even in the unlikley event that Brainyap's server get hacked, your private messages are still protected.

Brainyap will be designed to mitigate issues with social media, such as bot accounts, censorship issues, online slander and cyber bullying. While it is nearly impossible to control human nature, Brainyap will take precautions to mitigate the negative impacts of social media while still providing an engaging platform.
